About Sakura Baton Twirlers

Grace in Motion. Strength in Spirit.

At Sakura Baton Twirlers, excellence is not just a goal. It is a standard we live by every day.

Proudly recognized as home to the 2026 Sport Manitoba Coach of the Year, Tammy De Jong, our club has grown into the largest baton twirling program in Manitoba, built on dedication, passion, and a deep commitment to every athlete we train.

Our athletes continue to shine on the international stage, with three team members representing Canada at the 2025 Nations Cup. Closer to home, we celebrate numerous Provincial Champions and honor outstanding athletes such as Women to Watch recipients Hailey Tsitrin, Caitlyn De Jong, and Danika Huff.

We are proud to be an inclusive and welcoming community, supporting both boys and girls at all levels, from beginners discovering their love of the sport to elite competitors pursuing excellence.

Inspired by the sakura blossom, we believe in growth, resilience, and the beauty of each athlete’s journey. Our coaching philosophy goes beyond technique. We bring genuine care, passion, and mentorship to every student, helping them build confidence, discipline, and lifelong skills both on and off the floor.

At Sakura Baton Twirlers, we are not just building athletes. We are shaping strong, confident individuals and a community that thrives together.
